WHAT IS AL-MAWRID WEEKEND ISLAMIC SCHOOL?
Al-Mawrid Weekend Islamic School is a project of Al-Mawrid Institute. We aim to offer multiple classes on a Sunday School pattern for children & youth worldwide. The courses are designed to be discussion based and are only be offered in the English language. This year we also plan to offer classes in Urdu/Hindi.
DO I HAVE TO PAY TO ENROLL?
Yes. However, if you can’t afford to pay the tuition fee, we will grant you a fee waiver (no questions asked). We will not deny admission to anyone as long as we have space available in the course(s) you wish to attend.
HOW MUCH IS THE TUITION FEE?
150 USD for the entire year.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE TUITION FEE?
We believe that we should pay our teachers for their time and effort. Therefore we are asking for a minimal tuition to cover these expenses.
WILL I NEED TO PAY THE TUITION FEE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION?
No. After we receive your completed registration, we will then send you an email with a payment link. The email will also provide information about any alternate payment methods.

WHAT IF I CAN’T PAY THE TUITION FEE?
We would like everyone to be able to attend our School. Everyone who registers will be granted admission, even if they can’t afford to pay the tuition fee.
WHAT IF I WISH TO SPONSOR A STUDENT WHO CAN’T PAY THE TUITION FEE?
We encourage you to sponsor the students who are unable to pay. We also encourage you to support Al-Mawrid Weekend Islamic School as we grow through your general donations as well. Use the Donate link on the main page. Please remember to specify the purpose in the “Purpose" section when donating.
WHEN WILL THE REGISTRATION OPEN FOR UPCOMING 2019-20 SESSION?
The formal registration period will begin on July 20, 2019.

HOW ARE THE CLASSES CONDUCTED AND ARE THEY LIVE?
These are live online classes taught using video conferencing software platform.
WHAT LANGUAGE IS USED TO TEACH THESE CLASSES?
English & Urdu/Hindi. Please check the specific course page or class schedules for more information.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF EACH CLASS?
Classes are generally scheduled for one hour.
WHERE IS THIS GLOBAL ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAM BASED?
This particular online education program is a joint initiative of Al-Mawrid country chapters. This entire effort is the result of a collaboration between various Al-Mawrid independent chapters.
